the Squashed Frog Studio

Complementing the gallery is one of the best known artists studios and workshops in the north of Scotland - the Squashed Frog Studio

Now in it's fourth year, the large, fully equipped art and printmaking studio attracts art students - of all ages and abilities - from both the Highlands and Islands and from overseas.

The tutoring is led by Painter and Printmaker Gwen Black, a graduate of Grays School of Art.
From beginner to accomplished the teaching is modified to suit all skills and ages. The instruction is to a proffessional standard, with applications and techniques taught including Painting, Printmaking and Bookmaking

Gallery visitors are welcome to view these facilities and discuss course content and availability with Gwen.
