"Winter Exhibition and CD Collection"

TWO EXHIBITIONS

 

 

 

You and your guests are cordially invited to the opening of the "Winter Exhibition" and "The CD Collection", two new exhibitions, running simultaneously, at Inchmore Gallery, on Saturday 19th November from 2pm until 5pm, refreshments provided.  The exhibition runs until Saturday 7th January 2012.

 

"The CD Collection" - Inchmore Gallery has invited submissions from all disciplines and have encouraged work from emerging and established artists.  The exhibition will open and run simultaneously with our Mixed Christmas Exhibition featuring new work from familiar Gallery artists as well as some new ones. 

CD submissions are 12x12cm in size, unframed and for sale.  Up to 6 pieces may be submitted by each artist in any medium, but it must ultimately fit into, or be able to be glue onto, a CD case.

project aim was to demonstrate the versatility and talent of local and national artists.  Our aim was to make this the largest display of small, but perfectly formed, pieces of art and craft work anywhere in the Highlands and we had hoped for a diverse mix of pieces.   Having already received 80 individual, superbly crafted, works of art, we have surpassed our expectations and with another week to go before the closing date, we think there will be many more.

There really is something to inspire everyone and I cannot recommend a visit to the gallery highly enough.
