Ingela Davis

 

Ingela Davis is a self-taught mosaic artist working from a home-based studio in Gairloch 
She finds inspiration in the themes of Highland life and landscape, with some of her mosaic content based on locally-sourced castaway items, found objects and recycled materials (e.g. second-hand stained glass, mirror, ceramics, roofing slates and wooden off-cuts).

Ingela will be returning to printmaking this spring and hopes to exhibit some new work in July at the Inchmore Gallery. Printmaking was part of her art foundation and she said "I totally lose time and space when working with collographs".
