I work intuitively and spontaneously with glass and am fascinated by its robust, dynamic nature, versatility yet translucent, contradictory qualities. I combine literary elements with simple yet considered layers, each one decorated with brushstrokes or text before kiln firing.  My ideas integrate life events, even though my imagination is dominated by abstract styles, I capture vivid memories, thoughts and feelings with attention to colour and detail.  Consequently, my interest in the human condition, psychological approaches to art and my search for self-awareness means I depict covertly emotional themes.
